Misleading color depiction for color matching

I bought these two colors Cherry and Sunflower a while back and I'm just now getting around to leaving a review. I needed more yarn to match as close as possible to some skeins I found at the thrift store that didn't have labels. After going back and forth between this yarn and Premier, I picked this one because judging by the photos and descriptions, it looked like a close match, and it was the one on sale, making it cheaper for the amount I needed. As you can see, neither of them even comes close to matching what I needed and I ended up having to buy more yarn, this time from Premier *that actually matches* what I needed. I could've saved myself so much money by just going with Premier in the first place. I have since used both for something else. I will say the yarn is soft and doesn't split, and I would buy it again if I didn't need to color match something.

Love this yarn! Less ends to weave in. Also machine wash and dry.. It gets softer after washing. Easy to work with no splitting . I would only request more colors and maybe some in variegated. Just mailed off an all red baby blanket using one skein to my nephew and wife who are expecting their first baby soon. He is a college baseball coach and I choose the color to represent his team. In the meantime I just started to make one in white, cerise pink and pastel pink for them since I found out they are having a girl. I also placed two more orders to make many baby blankets for my local hospital for the preemie babies, they took such great care of my preemie granddaughter. I also made an all white ripple blanket for my sister who requested it. I made the red and white snowflake blanket for me and loved how it turned out.

More than enough

I ordered yarn to make my granddaughter an afghan in her colors for her wedding. I was surprised there was so much left, so I made another for the groom

Softer than I expected

This yarn is a good bargain and was softer than I expected it to be. I am making a crochet cat stitch blanket for my best friend in colors that represent her cats.

One of my favorite yarns for color work beanies! Knits up great and becomes softer after blocking. I would give 5 stars if there were more colors. Please bring back navy, umber and the mustard colored one!
