This super bulky 100% wool is a one plied roving yarn with an interesting twist. A white binding surrounds the roving, and is wrapped more tightly at varying intervals so that the yarn goes from wide to narrow, giving the yarn a uniquely textured appearance. With this loftywool, you can make fast-finish dramatic scarves, cowls or home dcor by using large needles and hooks. Or, arm knit with this to make one cowl in about 30 minutes or less!

Test knit the entire skein. It made a 6 X 12 rectangle. When I tried to felt it, it did shrink about 20% but the stiches did not disappear, even a little and there is no fuzz.
Beautiful wool, fantastic for arm knitting or wall hanging to show off the thick and thin variance of the yarn. I’ve already ordered more.
This roving is good quality. I will probably spin it into a finer yarn for tapestry weaving.
