Cotton Jeans is a sport-weight, 100% cotton yarn that mimics the look and feel of real denim. It's ideal for casual summer tops, baby garments, and lightweight accessories. The marled effect and high-twist construction create excellent crochet and knit stitch definition, making it perfect for breathable and stylish projects. Machine washable and lay flat to dry to maintain its soft, worn-in look.

First cotton yarn that I have truly enjoyed working with

I've stayed far away from cotton yarns for a very very long time, but tried this as it was recommended for the baby onsie pattern/kit. It felt good, and my stitches were quite even throughout.

Lighter weight yarn

The jeans yarn is a lighter weight yarn than I’ve worked with. It’s softer than other cotton yarn I’ve used. Can’t wait to finish my project.

Disappointed

This was the very first ball I pulled from the bag; the next ones were not any better!

Hello Jan - our apologies for any excessive knots in your yarn! If you come across 3 or more knots in a single skein please contact our quality control team at support@email.lionbrand.com so we can help make that right.

Making the Autumn League Pullover. Yarn is absolutely perfect for this pattern. It’s so soft and drapey. Have used 3 balls so far and no knots at all in any of the balls. Also minimal splitting. Love it! Already planning on making another one in a different colour!❤️

Nostalgic look

The colors of this yarn, especially the classic indigo, reminds me of high school and all the different colors of denim. I made this Lana Jois bag with the indigo color and truboo in navy and breeze colors. I’m really happy with the way it turned out! Next time I’ll do all cotton, the bamboo tends to stretch too much for me. The indigo is the medium blue in the picture.

Great option for summer tops

Easy to work with, soft and blocks well. Only downside is a bit of splitting but not excessive.
