Easy to crochet with. Made a beautiful baby blanket (for car seat/stroller). Added a dark blue border.
Lion brand is a great texture and easy to work with . I didnt buy enough at the store for my project and so i ordered on line what i needed and it was shipped no problem and quickly.
This is my first time knitting with Ice Cream yarn. What a sweet experience! The yarn is lovely to work with and it is a pleasure to watch the colour pattern emerge. I am knitting a top-down raglan sweater for a 6-9 month baby. Next will be booties, a hat and a blanket. The texture is smooth and even. I look forward to picking the next colour for another set. There are so many to make a decision! (My photo does not show the beautiful colour to its advantage - will take another when the set is finished and I can go into the sunshine).
I purchased 3 colorways, Parfait, Cake Batter, and Raspberry Ripple. They’re so much prettier in person. I’m working up a granny ripple blanket (pictured) in Parfait and it reminds me of rainbow sherbet. I’m on a buying freeze until I can use up some of my stash but I would buy more if in a heartbeat. It’s been wonderful to work with and one of the first variegated yarns that doesn’t have some weird break or knot in the middle of the skein.
Nice yarn, works up well. I’m sorry it’s not a bit heavier. Colors are nice, no knots or breaks in the skein.
