This Aspen has specs of black fiber that shed all over the house like a cat… if you’re knitting in the bedroom, you’ll find it in the kitchen. You need to be careful because it is a twisted yarn that separates very easily
I have made 2 afghans with Salem creek and Chicago charcoal along with another brand of yarn. I can safely say that hometown yarn is superior to the other brand especially in terms of piling and fuzziness.
I've used this yarn for MANY projects and it never disappoints.
It's soft, and works up quickly, but isn't too bulky.
Perfect for nice hats and garments.
Very warm too!
Highly recommend this yarn to anyone!
I try to use non-animal fiber yarn and this is really the best option for a chunky yarn.
I looked for a bulky navy blue yarn and this is it. Easy to work with. Making an afghan using the V stitch. Love it
