Not as expected

The coat did not turn out correctly. It did not fit as expected, and the sleeve design is horrible. Also, it's far more complicated than it needed to be. You must attach the squares as you make them--and where they attach is only intermittently--leaving large holes in the design. I had to remake the entire thing in order to get it to fit and hold together properly. Not a good design at all, though I do like the granny squares. I don't recommend this pattern for anyone who isn't highly skilled at both stitchery and design. I think this could have been made far simpler and much better in another way.
