Excellent pattern, excellent yarn

I’ve made 6 of these market bags now as gifts and they are just wonderful! I love working with 24/7 cotton as there is no splitting or pilling and it’s super easy to steam block. Most of mine took hardly any of the 3rd skein so I have a lot of remnants left to make some scrappy bags!

Great gift project

I ordered this kit after seeing a post on a knitting forum. I have done very little crocheting, so I had to refresh my knowledge on the required stitches, but the project is proceeding nicely now that I have established a rhythm. This one will be a gift for a sister who has traveled to France, but I will probably make some more, including one for myself.

Cute looking bag

I love 24/7 cotton easy to work with. I loved the handles and design of this bag. Can’t wait to start this!!

Great pattern!

This is a fairly easy pattern to work with - not terribly challenging, but also not for beginners. I've made several of these bags now, and they make wonderful gifts. (I was very confused about the straps on the first go-round, it would help if the pattern instructions specified that the straps attach across the front and not front to back!)

If you want to customize the bags, you can switch color for a few rows on the top edging (where you do the half double crochet stitches) - makes it a little fancier!
