Light soft yarn

The colors were exactly what I needed and the finished work is beautiful. The yarn does separate easily so you have to be careful. The cake lasted longer than I thought it would, so I was happy. It made a super soft baby blanket.

Nice … but…

Well the yarn is easy to work with.
Got the ice blue… I came across a knot in the yarn to connect more … I guess…
The beginning of the pattern was confusing to me… tried several times… ended up doing my thing.

Hi Patty - Occasionally the mill will need to join a new strand in as the yarn is being wound, or the equipment will cause a small imperfection to occur. When you encounter a knot or small imperfection, simply cut that section from the yarn and rejoin just as if you were starting a new ball (i.e., leave a tail of 4-6' to be woven in later, then begin working with the new section, leaving another 4-6' tail to be woven in).

Love the color and the smooth feel of the texture. Can not crochet at a fast pace because yarn splits a lot. I did order 3 more to finish the swim suit cover up project

Love the drape and colors

I really love this yarn. I am half way through making a cardigan and I love the way it drapes. Also the colors are vibrant and beautiful. I would recommend using a more rounded crochet tip hook and it can split a bit on occasion.

Great colors, drap, and feel

I used Olive and Taupe to make a set of six placemats for a family Christmas grab bag. The feel and drap is great. I did note that if I had to frog (tear out) work, the yarn became more difficult to work with. Once it was worked and then pulled out, the yarn split more when crocheting. This did not really impact my project, but I would keep it in mind for future projects. I've used 24/7 Cotton for the same pattern and got great results with that also. Hey, ignore those ends I haven't woven yet in my picture - I'll get to those little rascals soon enough.

It's a love/hate relationship

I was excited to try the CoBoo yarn. I love the feel of the yarn and the drape. But, as mentioned by others, the yarn does split a lot . I was able to overcome that issue for the most part by slowing down....after all, handwork is supposed to be relaxing. The other issue is keeping an even tension while crocheting. Looking at the finished sweater, there are areas especially on the ribbing where I obviously got a little careless with maintaining an even tension.
The sweater is MUCH larger than expected. I am 5'10", size 12 so I used the directions for large which I do with any other crochet project. I easily could have dropped to the medium.
All in all, I do like the finished result and am looking forward to wearing my new sweater.
