Soft yarn, but…

Very soft and silky yarn, but you do have to work slowly because the yarn splits easily. I think the truboo yarn splits more than coboo though and is harder to work with. Coboo has a really nice texture and anything you make with it is going to look luxe and soft!

knitting a sweater

Yarn is very soft, however it splits very easy! I'm using size 6 bamboo needles and have to watch each stitch. No watching TV with this sweater. Not using the pattern I ordered, directions were terrible and very hard to understand.

Coboo Knitted Knockers

I like working with Coboo Yarn. It is very soft and smooth, but it does have a tendency to split. Just keep your tension finger taught. I crochet Knitted Knockers for women who have had a mastectomy. Coboo is an approved yarn (noted on the label) for the international group Knitted Knockers. My local group from Creekside Senior Needleworkers of Bloomington MN, knit or crochet the Knockers, and they go to women and clinics around Minnesota through our sponsored non-profit - "One Good Deed". I love all the colors. Since the Knockers are requested in neutral color (white, pink, beige) we use the "fun" colors (yellow, blue, lavender) for the center.

Light soft yarn

The colors were exactly what I needed and the finished work is beautiful. The yarn does separate easily so you have to be careful. The cake lasted longer than I thought it would, so I was happy. It made a super soft baby blanket.

Nice … but…

Well the yarn is easy to work with.
Got the ice blue… I came across a knot in the yarn to connect more … I guess…
The beginning of the pattern was confusing to me… tried several times… ended up doing my thing.

Hi Patty - Occasionally the mill will need to join a new strand in as the yarn is being wound, or the equipment will cause a small imperfection to occur. When you encounter a knot or small imperfection, simply cut that section from the yarn and rejoin just as if you were starting a new ball (i.e., leave a tail of 4-6' to be woven in later, then begin working with the new section, leaving another 4-6' tail to be woven in).

Love the color and the smooth feel of the texture. Can not crochet at a fast pace because yarn splits a lot. I did order 3 more to finish the swim suit cover up project
