Works well

I’m combining with mandala ombré. Found a few slubs. Works up nicely.

Pretty color

The yarn is thinner than I expected but it will still make a beautiful afghan. It’s soft.
Just starting.

Lovely Yarn

A breeze to work with and very soft. Love that it is machine washable.

Beautiful and Soft

I like this Red Heather yarn for this scarf by Lee Sartori in her book..Unofficial Taylor Swift Crochet. The Alpine Stitch looks great with this yarn. It really stands out. I like the stitch definition. I definitely will be getting more of this yarn.

Nice stitch deffintion

This yarn has nice stitch definition. I also like that it doesn’t split. The oatmeal color with black flecks makes a nice tweed look. It has a thickness which I like.
I know this is an unusual description, but the yarn feels dry in my hands. To me, is is not as elastic as other yarns.

Basic Stitch Anti-Pill Yarn - Great for Heirloom Pieces (like afghans)

“Basic Stitch” Anti-Pill worsted weight yarn was a great choice for my cabled pineapple Afghan. I chose this yarn because it is machine washable and dryable, and the anti-pill quality will keep it in good shape for a long time. I want the recipients (a couple who will be getting married next year, so I knit this as their wedding gift) to actually USE this afghan, not just store it in a hope chest. I picked Mustard because yellow is the bride’s favorite color. The yarn is soft, and easy to work with. Would definitely select again if I decide to make another afghan or “heirloom” type piece.
