Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick® is the super bulky member of the Wool-Ease® family. It has the feel, warmth and softness of wool with the easy care of acrylic. This yarn is available in a wide variety of colors and can be worked up into everything from from chunky blankets and cozy scarves to stylish hats and mittens.

This yarn is great for hats and sweaters, and also for weaving. I love how many color options there are! I would love to see a few neons in there as well (neon green, please!) but am very happ that they have so many lovely muted tones. I got the mustard color for a sweater I am knitting and am in love with it!
When my box arrived it was battered and dirty. Two skeins must have escaped into the truck as they we stuffed into the box with the dirt and grit they collected! I called Lion Brand and they made it right by replacing the two dirty skeins immediately with no fuss!
I have knitted hats with this yarn for years and they are warm and cozy in winter weather. Thank you Lion Brand!
It is thick and quick! Nicely springy, bit of lovely fuzz to the texture, and feels good next to the skin. I’ve been using it to make headband/ear warmers for friends and they’re adorably chunky and come together quickly. And so many great color options!
I saw several ladies in my knitting group working with this yarn and decided to try it. I usually work with much thinner yarns, it I am enjoying this yarn quite a bit. I am making a Tunisian square blanket. Despite the thickness, the yarn is not hard to work with (using P crochet hook). I think it will wash well and be a very warm afghan. The color choices were all interesting too.
Works up great, thick and soft and quick! Best of all worlds!
I LOVE this yarn! I'm currently working on a blanket using this yarn along with some Go For Faux mixed in here and there. This yarn is great to work with and I love the variety of colors. I'm currently working with the Barley, Oatmeal, and Spiced Apple colors for my blanket, with plans for other projects for some of the other colors. So many ideas, so little time. Picture is the first two strips of the blanket.
