While working with Scarfie®, you’ll see a unique self-striping ombré effect emerge, with gradual shading from one color to the next. Loved how this worked out with the phasing and made a beautiful scarf! I highly recommend trying other patterns with it as well because textured crochet stitches really add a good pop with the phasing of this yarn.
I wanted to make a log cabin throw blanket - this was the perfect weight, texture and colors! I've made them in the past with Lion Brand tweed which has since been discontinued. This works well too.

I've worked with Scarfie yarn before, and it makes for a wonderfully warm scarf in the winter. I look forward to knitting myself a new one!
This yarn glides off the needles and I love the colorations that develop. This yarn is lightweight while still being warm.
I’ve made many items with scarfie yarn, the most recent being the Flip side throw. ( Rohn Strong pattern) That calls for scarfie lite but scarfie worked just as well.
Scarfie makes light weight but warm and soft items that work well in my very warm location.
