Gorgeous.... but!!

Firstly, let me start by saying how much I love the feel of this yarn. I bought it after a friend introduced me to it & I immediately fell in love with how soft it was.
Unfortunately, I'm not even half way through the first ball of 10 and have already had 2 instances of the yarn being cut. Although this isn't the end of the world, it is annoying to be crocheting and suddenly have the yarn end, not to mention the extra knots required. Hopefully the other balls will be ok & this is just bad luck.

Hi Tara - our apologies for these cut pieces in your yarn! Please contact our quality control team at [email protected] so we can make this right.

Happy to finally have a dark color

I have loved working with the Truboo yarn for a while given its texture and vibrancy but have been annoyed that there has not been a black or dark color to contrast with (the darkest Truboo color is slate which is a beautiful color, but not close to a black). I was excited to see the Coboo came in a black-like color (coal) and have been really happy with its texture and how it works with the Truboo colors. It is not quite as soft as the Truboo blend, but its a minimal difference. You can see in the attached picture how nice it looks with the Truboo colors.

Good drape and soft

Feels delicate. I used #6 needle (us). Making aa afghan gift for friends with a beach house that is sometimes air bnb. Like that it’s washable.
Sometimes it splits. The plies are wound loosely though the result is good stitch definition.

Perfect for my dolls body and hair

I use this yarn for the base body and hair for my dolls. It’s a little too thick for the clothes but I usually use the truboo for the clothing. I do wish there was a more of a sun kissed skin tone that was a little more on the bronze/ golden tone than the beige for my ethnic dolls like Pocahontas.

Would use again

This yarn was recommended for a lace and v-stitch top crochet pattern. The color I used is the Steel Blue. It was absolutely gorgeous in person. I am very new to crocheting, but I liked this yarn. It did split some during use, and so I had to periodically redo stitches. But the end result was pretty amazing and any trouble I had did not deter me. I would use this yarn again.

Very nice feel

This yarn is really nice to work with and makes a fabric that feels nice and cool. I'm looking forward to wearing my shirt when I finish making it!
