Great colors, drap, and feel

I used Olive and Taupe to make a set of six placemats for a family Christmas grab bag. The feel and drap is great. I did note that if I had to frog (tear out) work, the yarn became more difficult to work with. Once it was worked and then pulled out, the yarn split more when crocheting. This did not really impact my project, but I would keep it in mind for future projects. I've used 24/7 Cotton for the same pattern and got great results with that also. Hey, ignore those ends I haven't woven yet in my picture - I'll get to those little rascals soon enough.

It's a love/hate relationship

I was excited to try the CoBoo yarn. I love the feel of the yarn and the drape. But, as mentioned by others, the yarn does split a lot . I was able to overcome that issue for the most part by slowing down....after all, handwork is supposed to be relaxing. The other issue is keeping an even tension while crocheting. Looking at the finished sweater, there are areas especially on the ribbing where I obviously got a little careless with maintaining an even tension.
The sweater is MUCH larger than expected. I am 5'10", size 12 so I used the directions for large which I do with any other crochet project. I easily could have dropped to the medium.
All in all, I do like the finished result and am looking forward to wearing my new sweater.

Very soft

This yarn was awesome to work with. My project came out so cute and super soft. Perfect for a baby blanket.

Great DK yarn

I'm really enjoying how this yarn works up. I'm using it to make the Morticia dress by Made by Bjax.

Gorgeous.... but!!

Firstly, let me start by saying how much I love the feel of this yarn. I bought it after a friend introduced me to it & I immediately fell in love with how soft it was.
Unfortunately, I'm not even half way through the first ball of 10 and have already had 2 instances of the yarn being cut. Although this isn't the end of the world, it is annoying to be crocheting and suddenly have the yarn end, not to mention the extra knots required. Hopefully the other balls will be ok & this is just bad luck.

Hi Tara - our apologies for these cut pieces in your yarn! Please contact our quality control team at [email protected] so we can make this right.

Happy to finally have a dark color

I have loved working with the Truboo yarn for a while given its texture and vibrancy but have been annoyed that there has not been a black or dark color to contrast with (the darkest Truboo color is slate which is a beautiful color, but not close to a black). I was excited to see the Coboo came in a black-like color (coal) and have been really happy with its texture and how it works with the Truboo colors. It is not quite as soft as the Truboo blend, but its a minimal difference. You can see in the attached picture how nice it looks with the Truboo colors.
