I love some sparkle in my yarn, and this yarn suits me perfectly.
I made a small lap blanket for a handicapped child. I wanted the blanket to stay where it was put because my friend has a lot of uncontrolled movement of her arms and hands, so I doubled the strands of yarn. The completed project stays put and looks beautiful. It washed well and although it took a long time to dry it looks beautiful just like its new owner! I made a twisted ear warmer to go with it.
Not overly blingy, the sparkle in this yarn just catches the right light. Soft and comfortable to work with. I love how it feels. Made a shawl then loved it so much, had to use the leftover to make an everyday scarf.
This was my first “real” project and I am happy how it turned out. The shawl looks nice, the yarn color is beautiful, and the yarn feels so soft to work with, even thought it tends to separate the strands at times. I will definitely make other projects with
Yarn strands tend to separate which makes intricate stitches difficult. Also is a bit heavy, so finished item tends to stretch. Sparkle is very subtle.
Use this for my spring and summer shawls. The drape is amazing.
