Great Cape

Love the pattern - this cape stays on the shoulders and keeps your back warm due to the unique shape. Easy to work up using the Granny Square format. However, the kit ordered did not contain enough yarn to complete the project. When I finished with the yarn provided, the cape was only 2/3 the finished size stated in the pattern. A big disappointment. Makes me afraid to order other kits from Lion Brand.

Good design idea

I bought this pattern intending to make it in a solid color because the design looks so practical: more coverage than a triangle wrap, less front bulk than a poncho style piece. Good idea, Brianna! ( Life and yarn). Looks perfect as a make and give piece for a variety of people I know (particularly my older mom who gets chilly under the ac)
