This yarn is the best I've used to make pillows. I'm a big fan of cotton yarn so I really enjoy it.
I'm working on my second cardigan with this cotton yarn. The colors are both amazing and the stitch definition look incredible. The garments don't look handmade which is super impressive to anyone that doesn't know. :) Only four stars because of the roughness through your fingers and a few knots from the factory.
I am always a little hesitant to order yarn online that I've never seen or touched in person, but I heard great things about the 24/7 cotton, so thought I'd give it a try for my next baby blanket and I'm so glad I did! The way that the cotton is spun and plied gave it a tiny bit of bounce that made it easier on my hands to work with and since it's mercerized has a nice sheen to it. I bought my first round on Amazon and loved it so much I decided to make the next baby blanket with it in another color, which I ordered direct. I haven't started my green project yet, but pictured is the first (still wet from blocking, unfortunately)
I cannot comment yet on durability or colour fastness, as I've not yet tried to clean anything that I've made with this (hence, the four stars tentatively). However, I did really enjoy the experience of working with this cotton. I'm not really a huge fan of working with cotton because of the rigidity of the fibre, but this was the best I've ever knit with.
Recently, taught myself to crochet. I love the yarns that I bought for the hat. Right now, I am crocheting the granny squares for the Flower Market Bucket Hat.
I love using Lion brand 24/7 for my bucket hats. The colors are vibrant and are easy on the hands.
