I love working with homespun yarn. So many colors and works up nicely for shawls and ponchos.
I have made several projects with this yarn and I’m always pleased
While I haven’t made the project I bought the yarn for yet, I have made the same item using Homespun before. While it’s a little bit fiddly crocheting into the chain, it works up beautifully after that.
This yarn comes in some lovely colors. So far, I’ve used it on two blankets and am about to finish a hooded pullover sweater. The blankets were crocheted and the sweater is knitted. My cautionary note is that due to the unique construction of the yarn, it has a tendency to split and that tendency is worse when crocheting. That said, the resulting fabric is soft and has a beautiful drape.
I have made a blanket out of this yarn 12 years ago and it’s still looks good. Bought more to make another one.
Yarn is just right for shawls. Love the color.
