I really like this yarn and enjoy working with it. It DOES NOT frog well, though.
The shawl in the pictures is a modified version of the Agatha’s Reading Shawl by Ophelia Talks Crochet.
Our church loves Homespun Yarn. We make shawls for those who are going through rough times which are much appreciated. They know they are being wrapped in the warmth of our prayers. Homespum is soft and lasting for years of use.
I’ve been using this type of yarn for over 20 years and many blankets made for family and friends.
I was well pleased with the sweater ,I made with pattern entitled Coffee Shop Cardigan with Lion's Homespun yarn. I chose the Shaker Color ,which I am giving my daughter in law.She tries it on and used the Large size,although she is a medium. Her exact words were ,"I''d say this is spot on! And she was delighted.Ths was my first cardigan. And I am delighted as well. Easy instruction and this yarn is a dream and I was surprised how fast I got it done. Very classic looking. Great shape and kept shape after washing..I recently bought enough yarn in painted desert for myself. Almost done with my own..Try this yarn and pattern! You will love it!-ruby morton

There is nothing wrong with the yarn. It is very beautiful, and my afghan looks wonderful, but it is an extremely hard yarn to work with.
